Israel plans to veneer another colonial manifestation against Palestine, this time, in the name of a theme park. The Israeli Occupation has ordered 1500 Palestinians to demolish their own homes in 21 Days, else pay for a fee to have their own house battered in the village of Silwan, claimed to be the ‘City of David’, an Israelite Leader.

Their homeland will be exploited by the Israeli government to build a Biblical village for colonial tourism. Hell prevails in the village of Silwan as dozens of families are being forced to evacuate their homes.

“Rebellion will cost over 14,000 dollars or imprisonment up to 18 months. After an 11day war that killed 230 Palestinians including 65 children and 39 women, Palestinians are now going to lose their homes, their memories, a shelter to sleep in, a kitchen to cook a meal, and access to lavatories.”

‘Tales of Torture’ dates back to 1967, since a 6day war circa 1967, Zionist organizations have been hell bound to expand Jewish colonies in ancient Palestine. However, the cities annexed by Israel, during the war were described as illegal possessions by International Law.

Après the war, Jewish organizations like Elad (the Zionist group focused to establish Jew majoritarianism) have argued that Silwan hosts ‘unauthorized constructions’. In 2004, Ir Amim (a group that aims to establish parity and initiate negotiations), retaliated that their intentions are contentious and the surge in illegal construction was due to biased granting of permits by the Jerusalem municipality.

“Israel enjoys political expediency and practices the art of legalized crimes by exercising domination over the vulnerable people of Palestine as they lack representation.”

Property theft is just another method of ethnic cleansing that is backed up by the Israeli Apartheid Policies, which allow the de facto seizure of Palestinian land in the occupied East Jerusalem.

The argument that Silwan village breeds illegal structures carries no weight as, under the Israeli Apartheid regime, property rights are not fairly distributed.

Today, the world has 21 days to break its silence on the ongoing systematic brutality and establish international pressure.

This isn’t a property dispute. This is a humanitarian issue.

They are not defending their race. They are defending humanity.’

Even if King David built a city after his name, he didn’t leave a will mentioning who will inhabit it!

A resident of Silwan quoted years ago “Would King David have agreed to have me evicted from my house to build a garden in his name? I don’t think so.”

It is the 21st century, we cannot be virtual witnesses to genocide. It is not okay to run Bulldozers over a settlement to build a theme park. We cannot tell tales of Apartheid. This cannot be our history as human beings.

Hence let's represent Palestine and follow the resources on how to denounce Palestinian Colonizers. Click here for the resources.
